I did quite a bit of research before deciding to purchase the Philips AC2887 Air Purifier and after having used this product for the last month have been very satisfied with its performance. We are running it 24 hours a day at the moment as my partner suffers badly from hayfever. She noticed a drastic improvement way above our expectations from the very first day. Her constant sneezing dropped from 300 to 500 sneezes a day to zero on most days. Her nose and sinuses have not been blocked once as opposed to most of the time every day. I gave this a 5 star rating and can understand why it has received 5 stars from almost every other review we looked at. Top product!!!

Excellent machine, Great seller with top customer

I have struggled with sleep related problems for past 10 years. Was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and was prescribed to use CPAP machine. Despite trying for many years to tolerate the CPAP machine I still couldn't have a good night sleep. It never occurred to me that I would be allergic to something in the air that caused my throat to swell at night causing airway to be restricted hence difficulty breathing. Though suspected its the air I never believed air purifier could help. How wrong was I!!! Straight out of the box I switched it on and put it on the allergen mode and the bad air gauge was off the charts. I kept it on for the first night and immediately I had a really good night sleep and woke up refreshed and without body pain. Even the dark circle under my eyes seems to have improved. I've had the machine for three nights now and every night had been a good night. I know that it's still early days but consecutive nights of good sleep is already worth every dollar I paid for it. I should've bought one many years ago. Better late than never.

AeraSense technology

AeraSense is a sensor that accurately identifies fine particles that are even smaller than PM2.5 (including most common indoor airborne allergens). It then processes this information to ensure that the purifier’s settings are at the ideal level for current air conditions, and for continuous re-assurance. Then gives you feedback of real time indoor air quality by showing PM2.5 level.

Healthy air protect

The filter lifetime is accurately calculated based on indoor pollution level, air flow and operation time. The healthy air protect alert lets you know promptly when it is time to replace the filter.
