The family version of the ""Spiel des Jahres"" winner contains two different variants at once. In Scenario 1: “Who will become the new King?” players are confronted with a known challenge. They do what they can to impress the king and to be able to become his successor. Only if you build the tallest towers and are represented in as many castles as possible you will have a good chance to ascend the throne. The scenario is strongly based on its big brother TORRES, but with simplified rules. In Scenario 2: “Impress the King’s Envoys!” players seek close contact with the king’s envoys in order to present their buildings to them. If you build next to an envoy, you'll earn double points. This is not so easy, though, since you have to pay attention to the color of the spaces when you build! Not every tower may be built on every space. And the competition never sleeps!
