Space Movers is a cooperative science fiction board game adventure where players take on the roles of crew members aboard the spaceship Liberty. Your goal is to complete a series of objectives to win the game — sounds easy, right? Well, there’s more to it than that.
Each turn, you’ll lose a resource from the Resource Bar on the board. If this bar ever reaches the bottom, you lose the game. To replenish resources, you must deliver cargo, but doing so requires burning precious resources as you travel around the board.
Things get complicated when the evil UO Scout ship appears, chasing you across the system in an attempt to interrogate one of your crew members and temporarily remove them from the game. Each time the UO Scout ship shows up, a UO Eye Marker is added to the planet where the Liberty is located, and these markers are tracked by a UO Presence bar. If this bar ever reaches the top, you lose the game.
As if that wasn’t enough, Event cards can throw additional challenges your way, like preventing you from moving the Liberty or doubling the UO Scout ship’s movement.
If you can manage all these challenges, alongside a few other surprises, while completing your objectives, you’ll win Space Movers!
