A bright backlit display is easy-to-read. The thermometer comes with a durable 15cm stainless steel probe and a 1.2m silicone cord with a convenient cord wrap storage system. When food hits the pre-set time or desired internal temperature, an alarm signal occurs to ensure excellent results. HELPFUL HINTS: Digital thermometers are NOT meant to be left in food during cooking. The plastic and electronic components could be damaged by excessive heat. Only the wired probe should be in the oven but should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 250°C/482°F or put in contact with direct flames. NOTE: The thermometer and timer function independently and cannot be used together. Programming one will disable the other. IMPORTANT: The thermometer will be hot after use. Use oven gloves when handling hot thermometers.
