While rampaging through a history museum, you accidentally stepped on a sarcophagus, causing Anubis to appear. Can you escape the wrath of the God of the Dead as he showers curses on the town? On top of this new monster and his Evolution cards, the Anubis Monster Pack introduces a new game component, a beautiful pyramid- shaped die of Fate, which you can use even if you play without Evolution cards or are not playing with Anubis. This die allows to play with the Curse mechanics, adding new tension in the game: each roll of the die of Fate can activate the positive or negative effect of the Curse in play! Will you be worthy of Anubis’ incredible powers?

This Monster Pack introduces the Berserk mechanics: When you roll 4 Smashes or more, your Monster enters Berserk Mode (you add the little token to your Monster). In this mode, you add the (very beautiful) red die to your roll and play much more aggressively: some faces have 2 Smahes! Or 2 Energies! But there’s a small push-your-luck element with the Danger side (the skull), which can take some of your Health. You end Berserk mode when you Heal your Monster. With this mechanics, a lot more tension and strategy are added to the classic KOT gameplay experience!
